I watch Max inspect the house for
leprechaun "damage"
he smiles at the magic
afternoon
Alex and I play doctor
we listen to her heart beat
she smiles at the rhythm
night
I lay with them as they fall easily
into sleep
their breathing is the most
beautiful sound
I feel so lucky in these moments
savor every second
and smile
