Every now and then, Alex decides she needs to carry her pink purse everywhere.
She stuffs it full -
not with Chapstick (though she does love the "lipstick"), a little mirror, a brush, an extra hair clip, jewelry, or even coins.
Her necessities are of a different sort:
1 bright orange, fairly large flashlight,
3 pieces of yellow foam she found on the playground at recess,
Kitty - of course,
and an old candy tin that holds her extremely special,
extremely tiny, plastic, green bead.
She's pretty much prepared for anything...
